Work Commencing: Customer shall pay 20% of the job quote prior to work starting. This is intended to cover costs of material, if work is then canceled. Customer shall provide signature (electronic or written) authorizing work, prior to work starting.

Payment and Invoices: The customer agrees to pay all invoices from AJN Contracting for work contained in the quote. Payment in full is due from the customer by invoice due date.  Failure to pay in full for any work shall allow AJN Contracting to cease work on site or at all customer work sites without liability. Note: Prices quoted by AJN Contracting are good for 30 days.

Warranties: Any warranties for material, parts, and equipment is provided by the manufacturers or suppliers “not by AJN Contracting”. AJN Contracting warrants the labor performed for 90 days or as otherwise indicated in writing. No warranty for equipment, materials, or labor, whether written, implied, or otherwise, shall apply until AJN Contracting has been paid in full. All warranty periods begin at the time work is completed. 

Insurance and Access: AJN Contracting shall maintain general liability insurance and license in good standing. A certificate of liability insurance can be provided upon request. Access to Site & Conditions: Customer grants AJN Contracting a right of unhindered access into the work site, unless previously agreed upon, to deliver or collect materials, tools, or equipment and/or to perform work. This includes multiple entries when and where required, with no liability for damage. All quotes presume suitable conditions for the placement of all equipment, goods, and work required to complete work quoted. It also assumes unhindered (unless otherwise agreed upon) access to the work area for delivery of all materials and work by all persons required within scheduling agreed upon. Any variances in the conditions may require additional payment to be made by the Customer as shall be determined by AJN Contracting based upon the conditions encountered and actual and administrative costs incurred. This includes delays or changes in the scope of work caused by a customer, property owner, or other contractors working on site, regardless of fault or responsibility.

Damages: AJN Contracting is not responsible for damages caused by delay, including delay because of supply chain issues or lack of availability of materials or labor, or for any reason. AJN Contracting is not liable for any consequential damages or loss suffered by the customer or any other persons because of its performance or failure to perform under any agreement or otherwise.

In Connecticut, you have the right to cancel up to 3 days after signing your contract

YOU MAY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION WITHOUT ANY PENALTY OR OBLIGATION, WITHIN THREE (3) BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE ABOVE DATE. IF YOU CANCEL, ANY PROPERTY TRADED IN, ANY PAYMENTS MADE BY YOU UNDER THE CONTRACT OR SALE AND ANY NEGOTIABLE INSTRUMENT EXECUTED BY YOU WILL BE RETURNED WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING RECEIPT BY THE SELLER OF YOUR CANCELLATION NOTICE, AND ANY SECURITY INTEREST ARISING OUT OF THE TRANSACTION WILL BE CANCELLED. IF YOU CANCEL, YOU MUST MAKE AVAILABLE TO THE SELLER AT YOUR RESIDENCE IN SUBSTANTIALLY AS GOOD CONDITION AS WHEN RECEIVED, ANY GOODS DELIVERED UNDER THIS CONTRACT OR SALE; OR YOU MAY, IF YOU WISH, COMPLY WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SELLER REGARDING RETURN SHIPMENT OF THE GOODS AT THE SELLER’S EXPENSE AND RISK.
IF YOU DO MAKE THE GOODS AVAILABLE TO THE SELLER AND THE SELLER DOES NOT PICK THEM UP WITHIN TWENTY DAYS OF THE DATE OF CANCELLATION, YOU MAY RETAIN OR DISPOSE OF THE GOODS WITHOUT ANY FURTHER OBLIGATION. IF YOU FAIL TO MAKE THE GOODS AVAILABLE TO THE SELLER, OR IF YOU AGREE TO RETURN THE GOODS TO THE SELLER AND FAIL TO DO SO, THEN YOU REMAIN LIABLE FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ALL OBLIGATIONS UNDER THE CONTRACT.
